Hailstorms struck the north of Myanmar at the end of April, causing deaths to people and animals and devastation to paddy fields. The floods that followed washed away houses and paddy plants. Our contacts in Myanmar are organising relief work, especially to the interior villages in the highlands of Kachin State.
