The Refugee Relief Fund is closed, after the last sum of USD1,000 was sent out on 1 March 2018. The refugees are making their way home, with hired trucks and basic food made available largely by the funds we sent. We thank all who have contributed and prayed for this work. Our prayer is that there will be bountiful fruit from gospel preaching in the days ahead.

The civil war in Kachin State, North Myanmar, between the government forces and the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) is causing a severe refugee problem. Some 6,000 civilians who escaped the battle zone are housed in churches, while more than 2,000 individuals are held up by the army for screening to weed out KIA men. Both groups need food and basic amenities. Brother Peter Zahau who has been preaching the gospel among the Kachin people is strategically placed to do relief work among the refugees. Donations to the RRF may be sent to our church account, details below, with an email to Pastor Poh stating the amount and purpose. An acknowledgement will be sent by email once the contribution has come in. A copy of receipt will be sent if requested.
